In short: there are no accounts here. We collect your email address only if you join the newsletter. Google (ads and analytics) and Amazon (affiliate links) use cookies. We don’t sell your email address.

BestAppleWatchCase.com (“we”, “us”) publishes Apple Watch accessory guides, rankings and tools. This policy covers www.bestapplewatchcase.com. You can read the site without an account and without giving us your name or email address.

  • You give us: your email address, only if you sign up for the newsletter or a wallpaper download.
  • Collected automatically: cookies and similar technologies from Google AdSense, Google Analytics and Amazon, plus standard server and security logs.
  • Our own interaction counts: anonymous events such as “product link clicked” with the page and product. They carry no IP address, user agent or visitor ID, and we skip them entirely when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

We show ads through Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-8091812668359072). The AdSense script loads on every page.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google’s tag (gtag.js from googletagmanager.com), to understand which pages are read and how visitors move through the site. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and receives your IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed and referring site. We don’t send your name or email address to Google Analytics. To opt out, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or block cookies in your browser.

Amazon affiliate links

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon product links on this site carry our Associates tag (bawc-20). When you click one, Amazon may set cookies to record that the visit came from us, so we can earn a commission if you buy. The price you pay is the same. We don’t learn who you are or what you bought; Amazon reports orders to us without your name or contact details. Amazon’s own privacy notice applies on amazon.com. See our affiliate disclosure.

Newsletter

If you sign up for the newsletter or unlock a wallpaper download:

  • What we keep: your email address, where you signed up (for example, the newsletter page), the sign-up date, any wallpaper downloads you unlocked, and whether you have unsubscribed.
  • Where: stored in our database on Supabase. Emails are delivered by Resend, which also holds your address on our mailing list and records delivery status.
  • What we send: a welcome or download email, then Apple Watch deals and updates.
  • Unsubscribe: every email has an unsubscribe link (and supports one-click unsubscribe in your mail app). It stops all emails right away. We keep your address marked as unsubscribed so we don’t email you again.
  • Deletion: to have your address removed completely, email [email protected] from that address.

We don’t sell, rent or share your email address with advertisers.

Hosting, security and logs

The site is hosted on Vercel and served through Cloudflare, which protects it from abuse. Like any website, these providers process your IP address, browser user agent, the pages you request and the time of each request to deliver the site, keep it secure and debug errors. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies. These logs are kept by the providers for limited periods under their own policies. We use HTTPS everywhere and limit which outside services the site can load.

Settings saved on your device

If you pick your Watch model or size in a tool or the setup finder, we save that choice in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it in your browser settings.

Your rights

EU, EEA and UK (GDPR and UK GDPR)

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. We rely on your consent for the newsletter and for ad and analytics cookies where consent is required, and on our legitimate interest in running and securing the site for server logs. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA) and other US states

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to delete or correct it, and opt out of its sale or sharing. We don’t sell your email address or newsletter data. Ad and analytics cookies from Google may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. To opt out (Do not sell or share my personal information), use Google’s opt-out link where it appears on the site, turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings, or use aboutads.info. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.

To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm the request comes from you, for example by replying from the email address in question.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has signed up for the newsletter, email us and we’ll delete the address.
